Yesterday I had the chance to do something a little different. Instead of talking about AI models, tools, or use cases, I spoke about AI vs Aai.
For those who may not know, Aai (pronounced as A I) means Mom.
It started as a light comparison, almost playful. But as I went deeper, it turned into something more meaningful.
Because in many ways, both AI and Aai are becoming central to how we live our lives today.
Unconditional Love
Both love you in their own ways.
AI tries to be helpful, always available, always responsive.
Aai, well, her version of love has no conditions, no downtime, no API limits.
Need for Survival
The truth is, today, we probably cannot imagine life without either.
AI is becoming part of how we work, think, and make decisions.
Aai has always been part of how we became who we are.
Disagreements
There are times you may not agree with both.
AI might give you an answer you question.
Aai might give you advice you resist.
But somehow, you still end up living with both.
Money
One helps you make money but takes money from you as well.
The other quietly spends it on you without keeping track.
Unquestionable Wikipedia
Both are like their own version of Wikipedia.
Ask anything. You will get an answer.
Accuracy may vary. Confidence will not.
They Know Everything
Neither of them likes saying “I don’t know.”
AI will try to generate something anyway.
Aai will say something with conviction, even if it is based on instinct more than data.
Acceptance of Being Wrong
One might occasionally admit she was wrong.
The other one is still working on that feature.
Advice and Instructions
One keeps giving instructions.
The other keeps taking them.
And your life, in many ways, depends on how much and what you choose to listen to.
How to Think
Aai taught us how to think right.
AI is helping us think faster in the right direction.
That difference matters.
It All Comes Down to This
AI stands for Artificial Intelligence.
Aai, to me, stands for Authentic Intelligence.
And that is where it all comes together.
The future will undoubtedly be built with AI. It will shape industries, redefine work, and accelerate everything we do.
But the foundation of who we are, how we think, and what we value, that will always come from Aai.
Thank you Tushar Ranjankar for giving me an opportunity to connect with an amazing set of young students.
